Their winery is RIBA nominated and hosts regular tours and tastings where guests will be able to pair the best of Rathfinny’s output with food from The Tasting Room, the onsite restaurant led by chef Chris Bailey. Rathfinny is an idyllic vineyard just an hour and a half outside of London, fuelled by a whopping 230 acres of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier grapevines. Take a trip to this estate to tour the grounds, either on foot or bike, sample Wiston’s wines and/ or dine at Chalk, the vineyard’s resident restaurant. ![]() As well as that, 2000 years before Wiston’s current owners settled in, the Romans grew grapes on the same land – it’s almost as if it were destined to be a vineyard.
